Established in 2002, Andalucia Park has ample experience in organizing and leading walking and riding holidays in the Sierra de Aracena. We design routes away from the regular ones, and provide emergency standby if requested. Specialists in active tourism, we have detailed local knowledge of the area, and are an information point for the province of Huelva, Seville and nearby Portugal. As well, we have a wide selection of country cottages (casas rurales) for rent should you prefer to go self-catering.

Lola Franco, director of Andalucia Park, came to live in the Sierra de Aracena in 1999, looking for a new direction in her life, and convinced and that here was a great place for her three children to grow up in. Until then she had been working restoring furniture in Seville, which she continued doing here in the Sierra. Her work brought her into contact with the owners of country cottages and houses and she soon recognised the need for an agency to promote rural tourism, hence the birth of Andalucia Park.

Having trained in Outdoor Activities and Mountain Orienteering, Peter Ott moved to the Sierra de Aracena in 1997 and has since worked as a walking and horse-riding guide. He also has experience working as a birding guide in the Coto Doñana National Park. A great nature lover and enthusiast about life in rural Spain, Peter knows the paths and tracks of this beautiful region like the back of his hand, and is highly knowledgeable about the cultural, historical, social and economic aspects of the area.
